Riding the Bus
For 2023-24 DPS has a new bus tracking system. The EduLog Parent Portal replaces the Here Comes the Bus app.
You will need your student’s ID (also called the PowerSchool or NCEdCloud number). Contact your teacher or the office to get your student’s ID number.
Carpool
The carpool students enter and exit the building through the Edith Street Lobby. The carpool line travels south on Ninth Street, turns right onto Green Street, then turns right onto Edith Street. Display your carpool number on your dashboard.
Walking or Biking to School
Students who walk or bike to school will enter and exit the building through the cafeteria door on Ninth Street. Bike racks are available near this entrance. Students will be picked up at this same entrance, and parents must present their child’s carpool number. Students in 4th or 5th grade may release themselves and walk/bike home on their own, if their parents have submitted written permission to the office.
