The PTA's Google Calendar 

The calendar includes DPS days off and early release, PTA meetings, and school events as we learn about them. If you know of events that we should add, please email us at EKPoweElementary@gmail.com. 

Here's the link to add the PTA Google calendar to your personal calendar! Here are instructions for syncing with your calendar:

• Outlook (Method 2. Sync Google Calendar to Outlook Online or 365)

The PTA Email List

Scroll to the bottom of this page to sign up for the listserv. You do not need to be a formal member to be on the emails. The PTA uses this as our primary tool for communicating with the school community, including our newsletters. 

Note: the listserv is *NOT* set up as a distribution list, which means anybody who is on the listserv can reach the entire listserv by sending an email to powepta@googlegroups.com. The PTA listserv has ~350-400 email addresses on it at any given time, so be mindful that your email will go to all of those people.

This is a great place to ask questions and get quick responses. Each year, the FB group is more or less active - depending on how much you use it! Feel free to post to the community. Here's the link. It is a private group, so we'll ask you to provide a little information about your Powe connection in order to approve your membership request. 

Padres de Powe @ WhatsApp

Powe families maintain this Spanish-language WhatsApp group for Latino and Hispanic families. Ms. Diaz, the school’s Spanish interpreter, is also a part of the group. Click here to join.
